Rise of the Three Crowns

Valebrook, Duskmarrow, and Aurelfen did not emerge cleanly; each crown is a compromise built on old war claims.

Settlement & Succession

The three launch kingdoms inherited land that was never politically empty. Claimants, chapel orders, relic keepers, and military households all carried pieces of authority into the post-war centuries.

The modern crowns stabilized only by delegating power downward into duchies and counties. That is why Dragonheim's public archive treats local governance as part of historical memory rather than background decoration.
