The world lore section is intended to be one of the strongest parts of the Dragonheim ecosystem. Today we are publishing the first version of the lore archive covering the three launch kingdoms, the heartland district, key biomes, and the bestiary of documented creatures.

Dragonheim's world is intentionally compact. The launch realm covers 50 km × 50 km and contains three kingdoms — Valebrook, Duskmarrow, and Aurelfen — spanning six duchies and sixteen counties. This scale was deliberately chosen to feel politically legible from day one, before the population scales.

The bestiary currently documents eight confirmed creature types ranging from low-threat thornhide boars in Valebrook's frontier forests to extreme-threat mirewraiths found near old battle sites. More entries will be added as rangers and expedition teams file reports.

The biome section maps seven major geographic zones, each with documented hazards and resources. Biome data will eventually feed into the interactive world map once that component is ready.

Political and historical records — including kingdom governance structures, county identities, and known relic sites — will expand as the game approaches launch. The lore team is building these in parallel with game design documentation.
